Pair French Louis XV Style Statutory Marble and Ormolu Twin Light Candelabra, after a model by Pierre Gouthiere (1732-1813). Mid Nineteenth Century
Each with a centered spire topped with a leaf canopy and an Acorn finial, issuing two decorative scrolled candelabras mounted with a Cockrel Head and a canopy of twelve hand cut crystal spear shaped prisms. The main support of nicely veined green marble, of inverted triangular outline, ending on an ormolu base with egg and dart cast decoration and supported on its original three paw feet.
Condition: Good condition with no losses to marble, professionally re-gold plated, nice original firm fitting drip pans.
